Executive Decisions: Eric Ebron vs Martellus Bennett

Corey Parson The Fantasy Executive July 20, 2017 7:53PM EST

Eric Ebron vs Martellus Bennett – this will be a good one. Ebron and Bennett are two tight ends that I will have exposure to in 2017. Marty B the Mercenary takes his pass catching and blocking talents to Green Bay after winning a Super Bowl with the Patriots last season. Eric Ebron, still with the Lions, continues to improve season after season. In the video, I will let you know which one I like more for 2017.

Let’s start with Martellus Bennett. Bennett didn’t put up outstanding Fantasy Football numbers in 2016. Bennett finished 2016 as TE9 in PPR scoring. He averaged just under 10 points per game. Bennett’s 56 receptions weren’t ideal but his seven touchdowns made him look better Fantasy Football-wise. Bennett was a great blocker in the Patriots scheme and that hurt him as a pass catcher. Bennett only had 73 targets last season with New England. Will Bennett get back to putting up the numbers he did with the Bears this season? That remains to be seen but at the right draft price, Bennett will be on my team.
