Blake Bortles vs. Houston Texans: Blake Bortles is riding a hot streak as we enter Week 15 with back-to-back two touchdown games. This week, he is facing a Texans defense that is allowing the third-most points to opposing QBs. If you just lost Carson Wentz last week, look to Bortles to help carry you into championship week with another strong performance on Sunday.
Case Keenum vs. Cincinnati Bengals: Since Week 8, Case Keenum has averaged two scores per game, making him one of the more consistent options at the position over that span. In the Fantasy playoffs, consistency is key. The Week 15 matchup against an injury-riddled Bengals defense could prove very fruitful as Keenum should throw a minimum of two touchdowns here. He is undoubtedly worth a starting spot this week, and should perform well enough to help you advance.
Kenyan Drake @ Buffalo Bills: As perhaps the hottest running back in Fantasy over the last two weeks, Kenyan Drake should be in store for another huge performance in Week 15 against the Bills. Buffalo is Fantasy’s worst defense in points allowed to the position, so look for the Dolphins to ride Drake up and down the field this week. Look for Drake to get you 150 combined yards and at least one score in this game.
Christian McCaffrey vs. Green Bay Packers: The touches have been limited for Christian McCaffrey over the last three games, but the Week 15 matchup against the Green Bay Packers could be right up his alley. The Packers are among the league’s worst in points allowed to pass catching running backs. McCaffrey’s upside in this game should see him slotted in as a low-end RB2/Flex play this week.
Jordy Nelson @ Carolina Panthers: Since Week 7, Jordy Nelson’s highest yardage output has been a meager 35 yards. But, Aaron Rodgers has now been cleared to play in Week 15, which means you must get Nelson back into your lineups. I would not be shocked to see a seven catch, 100-yard game from him with at least one trip to the end zone. He should see his value rise back to a WR1 level this week.
Marquise Goodwin vs. Tennessee Titans: In back to back weeks, Marquise Goodwin has put forth very strong performances with eight and six catch games, averaging 100 yards. This week’s matchup against a soft Titans secondary could see Goodwin posting very strong WR2 numbers. I expect him to put up at least 100 yards with a touchdown in Week 15.
Cameron Brate vs. Atlanta Falcons: Over his last six games, Cameron Brate has only one game with more than one catch. What makes him starter worthy in Week 15? The matchup at home against the Falcons should help Brate find room over the middle of the field. The Falcons will be focused on the receivers on the outside, meaning Jameis Winston will have to utilize the tight end to move the ball and stay in the game. I expect Brate to put up 60 yards and a touchdown in Week 15.
Harrison Butker vs. Los Angeles Chargers: This will be a hard fought game between rivals for first place in the AFC West, and could be a low-scoring affair. But look for a few of these points to be put on the board by Harrison Butker. I can see the Chiefs moving the ball fairly well, but failing to get into the end zone on numerous occasions, which means more opportunities for Butker.
Washington Redskins vs. Arizona Cardinals: The Cardinals will be making the trip to the East coast this week, and playing against the Redskins defense, I have a feeling that this offense will have a rough day. The Redskins will look to shut down Larry Fitzgerald, and get after Blaine Gabbert. Washington will be a stream worthy defense in Week 15.
Alex Smith vs. Los Angeles Chargers: As I said earlier, I expect this to be a low-scoring divisional game. Alex Smith has been playing hot and cold recently, and the Chargers defense has been playing very well. This adds up to be a boom or bust type game for Smith. If you have another option with a better matchup, I would not risk Smith in the Fantasy playoffs here.
Jared Goff @ Seattle Seahawks: Jared Goff has played well enough to get you to this point in the year, but on the road against the Seahawks defense is not the time to play with fire during the playoffs. Goff has shown that he struggles against the better defenses in the league, so look for him to put forth a subpar effort here. There should be other options that you can count on in Week 15.
Lamar Miller @ Jacksonville Jaguars: Slightly banged up and playing against the stout Jaguars defense, put Lamar Miller on the bench for me in Week 15. You can’t risk low output this late in the year.
Matt Forte @ New Orleans Saints: Another injured running back, Matt Forte should play this week, but will be on the road in New Orleans. The tough matchup and the fact that the Jets mix in three different running backs during games, means you should not be able to trust Forte this week.
Robby Anderson @ New Orleans Saints: Without Josh McCown, and matched up against Marshon Lattimore, Robby Anderson could be in for a long day in New Orleans. He has played well up until this point, but when you need him the most, you probably will not be able to count on him. If you have another receiver on the bench with a better matchup, you should entertain the thought of playing them in Week 15.
T.Y. Hilton vs. Denver Broncos: Aside from his Week 9 performance, T.Y. Hilton has largely been an afterthought as a starting Fantasy receiver the last couple of months. If you have made it this far into the playoffs, you likely have better options to plug in and play this week. Let Hilton keep his spot on the bench.
Greg Olsen vs. Green Bay Packers: Greg Olsen is playing more hurt than he would like to let on. Couple that with the erratic play of Cam Newton over the last few weeks, it is hard to trust him during crunch time. He could give you a two-touchdown game, or he could give you the goose egg. Are you willing to risk that in Week 15? I would look elsewhere.
Adam Vinatieri vs. Denver Broncos: It’s hard to imagine that the Colts will put up more than 10 points in this matchup. Making Vinatieri a very risky play in Week 15.
New England Patriots @ Pittsburgh Steelers: New England just got embarrassed by the Miami Dolphins in Week 14, and now go on the road to play the Pittsburgh Steelers offense. That alone should spark the idea to look for another option in your Fantasy playoff matchup.
