The regular season is finally here. And it will be exciting to
see a full 82-game schedule after the lockout limited the regular
season to 66 games and a condensed slate of games. NBA players will
be able to rest more between games rather than having to endure
those grueling back-to-back-to-back situations, which is especially
great news for the aging stars of the league.
For the first week of the regular season, the Los Angeles Lakers
will feel like we’re still playing under last season’s condensed
schedule. They face a four-game slate in the first six-day week,
starting Tuesday against Dallas. Then, it’s a quick trip up to
Portland, before a home game against the L.A. Clippers Friday, and
a home game against Detroit Sunday. The Lakers are the only team in
the NBA with four games in Week 1, so start all of your Lakers in
cumulative Fantasy formats.
