Miami Heat SG Dwyane Wade (knee) missed Sunday’s game against the Charlotte Bobcats due to a sore right knee. He was dinged up early last week and had been playing through the pain, but apparently the pain was too much or head coach Erik Spoelstra felt playing against an inferior opponent would be a good time for D-Wade to take a rest. Either way, the Heat have four games in the upcoming week and no back-to-back situations, so Wade should be a safe play for Fantasy owners.
If you’re a Fantasy owner of Toronto Raptors F Rudy Gay (back), you might not be as lucky. He has missed several games in the month of March due to back issues, and head coach Dwane Casey admitted Sunday that the club will discuss shutting him down “sooner rather than later.” That makes him a tremendously risky play going forward.
