Scott Engel
Managing Director
Scott joined RotoExperts.com in 2008 after four years at ESPN.com, where he was an Associate Editor and Fantasy Writer. He began his career as a fantasy professional in 1996 at CBS Sportsline, where he served as Managing Editor of Fantasy Sports and Senior Writer during his tenure. In 2006, Scott was named Fantasy Football Writer of the Year by the Fantasy Sports Writer's Association in his first year of eligibility. Since joining RotoExperts, Scott's work has also appeared regularly on NFL.com and Yahoo Sports. In 2009, he was named Managing Director of RotoExperts.com. Scott was also a founding member of the Fantasy Sports Writer's Association's Executive Committee.

Doug Anderson
Executive Editor
Doug was at the table when the concept of RotoExperts was formed in 2008. He's served RotoExperts in a variety of roles including Staff Writer, MLB Editor, Senior Editor, and in his current role as Executive Editor. Doug is also in charge of Web Operations for RotoExperts. His work has been featured on Yahoo! and in USA Today's Sports Weekly.
Doug grew up in a small town in Illinois, where the school janitor and
the town mayor were the same person. At the age of eight, Jack Brickhouse and the Chicago Cubs bestowed upon him a curse that exists to this day. Doug's fantasy endeavors began that same year with an introduction to Strat-O-Matic Baseball. A fantasy veteran of over 16
years, Doug has followed his addiction throughout a career in education as well as a brief stint in the United States Army. With the birth of his son Casey in 2003, Doug took on the alias RotoDaddy, which he
carries to this day. Mr. Anderson's first love is baseball and he specializes in deeper monoleagues, but he has come to grudgingly accept the reality that is mixed leagues. Doug can be reached at rotodaddy@rotoexperts.com.

Mike Gilbert
Senior NFL Editor
A fantasy football junkie since 1998, Mike joined RotoExperts.com in the spring of 2008, switching gears from covering the indie rock scene to fantasy football. Oddly enough, the biggest change between the two was the switch from a sweater to a hoodie. These days, he toils in the RotoExperts editorial sweatshops while occasionally poking his head out to subject the masses to his thrice-weekly breakdown of fantasy stories off the beaten path, "The Furious Five." He also contributes to USA Today's "Fantasy Joe" blog and the USA Today Sports Weekly. Alongside RotoExperts staff writer Andy Bottoms, Mike is co-host of the internet radio show "Sports Smack." He tries not to make too much noise on the show during baseball season. A native Louisianan, Mike is a die-hard fan of the three-time national champion LSU Tigers and the two-time playoff game winning New Orleans Saints. Mike currently resides with his wife and daughter in one of the more "authentic" areas of South Philly. His work has also appeared on Yahoo.com, SI.com, FoxSports.com, and in the pages of USA Today. Mike can be reached at gilbert@rotoexperts.com. |

Tom Lorenzo
NBA Managing Editor
Tom is a former fantasy writer for the Talented Mr. Roto and NBA.com. He is a self-proclaimed "expert" in fantasy basketball and baseball and he's been playing fantasy football for nearly 14 years now, so we won't sell him short on that end. He even has a fantasy hockey ring under his belt, but let's not go there. His credentials? He received his undergrad degree at the same school as Rik Smits and attended graduate school at the same school Lou Gehrig attended. They were both well-known fantasy players. Interestingly enough, Tom does not long for the days when scores were tabulated daily per the morning newspaper's boxscores.
Tom can currently be read at the comedy blog Lolabrigada.com and can be seen strutting his funny mug at various comedy venues in NYC. He still holds the current record for most points scored in a single game at his old junior high. He hopes to cut a ribbon one day for that feat. Send an email to Tom at lorenzo@rotoexperts.com. |

Bill Root
Associate Editor
Bill Root is a lawyer and a fantasy sports junkie. They say all lawyers have addictive personalities. Well, at least Bill's addiction is legal and safe. Bill has been involved in fantasy sports for the past 18 years. He has a unique love for competitive dynasty football leagues and strategic simulation games like Scoresheet Baseball.
Everyone hates lawyers. So, Bill became a fantasy sports writer to raise his approval rating. Plus, he got sick of giving beat downs to his opponents, and decided he needed a new challenge. Bill has a keen eye for young talent and is a scouting guru on both our baseball and football teams.
During the baseball season, make sure to check out Bill’s “New Kids on the Diamond Prospect” column where he provides hot tips on the next wave of impact rookies. In football season, Bill digs deep into the fantasy core of an NFL squad every week in his “Deconstructing” column.
Shoot Bill at email at broot@rotoexperts.com or tweet @FantasyRoots if you have any pressing questions or have a tip on a hot prospect from a remote island in the Pacific. |

Kyle Stack
Promotions Coordinator/Staff Writer
Kyle Stack is a proud native of Los Angeles and alumnus of Montana State University. He remains a devoted fan of the Lakers, Dodgers, 49ers, UCLA Bruins and his (Fighting) Bobcats.
Kyle was the sports editor of MSU's student newspaper, The Exponent, for two years, and he co-hosted an off-campus sports talk radio show, The RedZone, with a pair of friends for nine months before graduating.
He moved to New York City in June 2007, where he now works as a fantasy writer for MLB.com as well as a freelance sports writer for amNew York. Ultimately, his goal is to provide readers (and, hopefully in the future, listeners) with objective, insightful and entertaining sports analysis.
Even with the Lakers' recent loss in the NBA Finals, Kyle hasn't cut himself off from human contact (at least not since the first day after Game 4). Feel free to send any questions/comments to Kyle at kylestack@rotoexperts.com. |

Brad Rysz
Associate Editor
Brad Rysz began playing fantasy sports over ten years ago. His writing has been featured in Inside Wisconsin Sports magazine. Brad's obsession with fantasy baseball, basketball, and football over the years has forced him to disregard studying, working, his family, and even the occasional girlfriend to make sure that his "lineups were set", but he says it has been so worth it. Brad loves fantasy sports so much that he would rather give up beer than his fantasy teams. If it came down to it, what would you give up for fantasy sports? Share with Brad at brysz@rotoexperts.com. |

Paul Bourdett
Senior Writer
Paul is a grizzled veteran of the Rotoexperts.com team, and the wit behind the very popular syndicated column, "The Pickup Artist.". He has won a number of leagues in which he's played, including the infamous "Pablo Slam", where he won a football, baseball, and basketball league all in a 365-day period. He’s also been known for leading many a league in transactions and trade offers, as well as message board posts calling out cheaters and deadbeats. Paul also contributes regularly to USA Today
Sports Weekly.
On the professional level, he spent three years working as a freelance game logger for CBS Sports, keeping track of stats and highlights for NCAA football/basketball and NFL halftime and post-game shows. He was later
canned for showing up late after pulling a 9pm-5am shift at the local bar.
If you’re looking for stats and splits, this guy's got the goods. Whether he's at work, at home, or out and about, you can be sure there's a stat tracker of some sort running in the background on his desktop, laptop, or smartphone. If proudly admitting to keeping running stats for a full season of Lakers vs. Celtics as a young child doesn’t scream obsession, we don’t know what does. Paul can be reached at bourdepa@rotoexperts.com.

|
Mark Strausberg
Senior Writer
Mark Strausberg is a physical specimen who does all the little things that don't show up in the stat column while taking it one game at a time because pound for pound he has tremendous potential upside giving 110% between the lines until the whistle blows. So, get your game face on and go the distance to email him at mstrausberg@rotoexperts.com. |

Andy Bottoms
Staff Writer
Andy covers fantasy baseball, football, and college basketball for RotoExperts and has been writing about fantasy sports since 2003. He started with GetSportsInfo.com while living in Cincinnati and subsequently served as the Reds scout for TalentedMrRoto.com for about a year before eventually landing at RotoExperts in 2008. During that time, his work has been syndicated on SI.com and Yahoo, and he has represented the site on multiple sports talk radio shows in the Midwest. Andy currently hosts Sports Smack with Mike Gilbert on BlogTalkRadio.com after hosting a weekly college hoops show during the 2008-09 season. He also recently started writing for CollegeFantasyHoopsInsider.com.
In terms of fan allegiances, Andy lives and breathes IU basketball and even IU football, where his family has had season tickets for 25 gut-wrenching years. As for the pros, Randall Cunningham rendered him an Eagles fan for life, and his baseball heart lies in Cincinnati. When not obsessing over his fantasy teams or sports in general, Andy enjoys spending time with his wonderful and supportive wife, as well as his daughter who is without question the best kid in the world. Share your thoughts with Andy at bottoms@rotoexperts.com. |

Antonio D’Arcangelis
Staff Writer
Antonio D’Arcangelis is a 33-year-old wordsmith from Upstate New York who drinks way too much Captain Morgan and doesn’t go to enough Yankee games. He’s a former newspaper reporter and columnist who writes for New York State and thinks the steroid controversy needs an injection of education, not sanctimony.
When he’s not tinkering with his fantasy teams and proposing multi-player deals to unsuspecting rivals, he’s either writing, reading, painting, freestyle rapping, deejaying/emceeing a party, playing poker, laying off carbs or watching American Idol. Despite the breadth of his interests and acumen for fantasy success, he is not yet the international playboy he fancies himself – largely because he’s still too fat and can’t afford a private charter.
Antonio is lucky to have a loving family, a longtime girlfriend who still puts up with his antics and an ability to communicate that he inherited from his father. He’s currently a football writer for fftoday.com, where’s he's been since 2004, but has finally broken into the sabermetric world of fantasy baseball writing with RotoExperts. Simultaneously a Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees fanatic, he prides himself on not being a New York Giants or Boston Red Sox hater – since he believes tolerance is the most important trait a person can possess.
Antonio’s favorite writer is Kurt Vonnegut, his favorite director is David Lynch, and despite his love for the Yankees, he thinks Derek Jeter should be euthanized or moved from shortstop, where his range is down to about five feet in either direction. He’s a 10-handicap whose strengths on the course are putting, chipping and recovery, and he’s currently looking for a golf writing gig so he can get press passes to the 2009 U.S. Open at Bethpage’s Black Course. Feel free to drop him an e-mail at antonio@rotoexperts.com, but don’t badger him or he might eat you. |

Jeff Andriesse
Art Director/Staff Writer
As RotoExperts.com was building towards success, a graphic designer was sought to spice things up. The call went to Jeff Andriesse, who won the job with a simple, elegant submission consisting of a rectangular piece of paper that featured ornate gray and green trim, random numbers in a unique font style, and a life-like rendition of Alexander Hamilton. Andriesse sent in many of these examples until RotoExperts had no choice but to hire him. Since coming on board, he has designed web graphics, magazine and banner ads, splash pages, e-mail newsletters and logos for the site, and in return, management allows him to indulge in his real passion, fantasy basketball. Jeff is a member of the vaunted hoops team, and contributes preseason and in-season content, including the weekly waiver wire column, Team Building Exercises.
That he won the inaugural in-house leagues in both football and baseball is an unending source of humiliation and frustration for his colleagues, but for the most part they tolerate him because he's an ace at Photoshop manipulation.
Jeff can be found on Twitter @JeffAndriesse or via email at jeff@rotoexperts.com. |

Chris Ryan
Staff Writer
As a small child, Chris spent his mornings before school positioned inches from the television, eating Pop-Tarts, and watching SportsCenter on a loop. While other children his age were playing with G.I. Joe's and Transformers, Chris, or "The Rex" as he sometimes refers to himself, kept in-depth statistics for full 82 game basketball seasons...that he played against himself. In his basement. On a plastic Fisher-Price goal. As he grew into an awkward teenager, he realized that his own playing days were limited due to Bengie Molina-esque foot speed, so he began looking for another outlet to satisfy his love of sports and passion for statistics. Hello fantasy sports.
After spending four years in college composing late night drunken emails to league mates on such topics as, "Who had more fantasy value in their prime, Rik Smits or Mark Eaton?" and "10 reasons why Pat Burrell makes me want to start cutting myself," The Rex decided it was time to share his opinions with a broader audience. Hello RotoExperts. He currently resides in the great state of Indiana, and writes a weekly injury report for both football and baseball. Share your thoughts with Chris at therex@rotoexperts.com. |

Adam Zdroik
Player News Editor/Staff Writer
As a young lad the world of fantasy football was thrown into Adam Zdroik’s face. At the time, he only took it as a fun game. As the years passed, and as the "games" became more and more intense, his way of living had changed. Fantasy football slowly became his life, encompassing much of his daily work. During the offseason, Adam figured he needed a break from football, so he decided to play the likes of fantasy basketball, baseball, soccer, hockey, golf, NASCAR, and many other sports. With this unhealthy addiction to fantasy sports, he decided he needed somewhere to share his knowledge.
.He gladly joined RotoExperts in 2008 as a member of the Scout/Player Updates Team. As a full-time student, part-time employee, and a part-time writer/editor for RE, one would wonder how he balances all of his time. Nevertheless, he is here to help you with all your fantasy needs.
If you need someone to talk to, or just want to chat fantasy soccer, get him at zdroik@rotoexperts.com. |

Jonathan Huang
Staff Writer
Born in the streets of Philly (well not really, but the Philly part is true), Jonathan gained his love of basketball from playing NBA Jam. He has since become a weekly fixture on Yahoo! Sports as a RotoExperts exclusive covering fantasy basketball. He is currently an NBA columnist and editor for RotoExperts.com and has become a weekly fixture on Yahoo! Sports as a RotoExperts syndicated columnist, covering fantasy basketball. Give Jonathan a shout at jhuang@rotoexperts.com.

Eno Sarris
Staff Writer
Eno Sarris feels that fantasy baseball has been his anchor on stormy seas his whole life. While he has lived all over the world (Negril, Hamburg, Atlanta, Palo Alto, San Francisco, London, Jersey City, and New York City to name a few), fantasy has always been there for him. Even if he looked like Andersen Varejao and swung like Christian Guzman, it didn't matter, his fantasy team would still dominate. He also hopes that you enjoy his baseball and basketball analysis.
Though he's only been writing for a little over two years, the Fantasy Sports Writers Association awarded the relative rookie for his writing in 2009. On the other hand, fantasy trophies have been falling out of his closet for some time now. Contact Eno at eno@rotoexperts.com. |

Chris Carbonell
Staff Writer
Born on the mean streets of Spanish Harlem, NY, Chris Carbonell (or "Starbonell") was groomed to be a die-hard Yankees and football Giants fan. It was only natural that fantasy dominance would ensue when a young Starbo' would discover on-line leagues in 2004 that allowed him to flash his sports know-how while also letting him talk his fair share of smack. Though he's a unique breed in the fantasy game, his bravado knows no bounds since he's collected more hardware than Home Depot in fantasy leagues.
Chris is a member of the Fantasy Sports Writers Association (and, yes, women melt at the mere mention of being a member in this exclusive club). He's known as much for his ever-growing list of nicknames (such as Kid Clutch, Stats All Folks, Big 'Ell, and Count Money) as his competitive nature. His writing has been known to stir the pot at times, but regardless of how you feel about the man, you can't knock his hustle.
Today, Kid Clutch lives in Nassau County, Long Island with his long-time girlfriend and son.
Feel like taking umbrage with one of Chris Carbonell's comments/predictions? Hit him up at ChrisCarbonell@rotoexperts.com.

Adam McFadden
Staff Writer
Adam has been engrossed in fantasy baseball from the day he started playing it almost 10 years ago. He has won too many leagues to count and still claims to have discovered Brad Lidge in 2003. While his specialty is fantasy baseball, he has experience writing about football and basketball (though as a Seattle native, he's still very bitter about the Sonics).
In addition to the Washington State Cougars, Adam actively roots for the Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles. Send questions or comments to amcfadden@rotoexperts.com. |

Tamer Chamma
Staff Writer/Radio Host
After trying out the 9 to 5 for a few years after college Tamer decided to pursue his dream of writing and broadcasting by attending the Connecticut Schools of Broadcasting in 2005. An internship at WFAN Radio and a writing gig with Auctionplayers.com followed. In 2007 Tamer joined WGHT Radio in New Jersey reporting on High School football, baseball, and basketball. In February 2009 Tamer joined Rotoexperts as co-host for Rotoradio: Hoops Edition and later started covering fantasy basketball for RotoExperts.com. With his recent marriage and his broadcasting dream quickly becoming a reality the only thing left for Tamer is to witness a New York Mets World Series Championship!
You can reach out to Tamer at tamer@rotoexperts.com. |

Trevor Lane
Staff Writer
Trevor Lane is an NBA expert who fell in love with the game during the Showtime era. He used to practice Kareem's sky hook in the driveway for hours on end until he found out that it doesn't work (or look nearly as cool) when you are vertically challenged. Undaunted, Trevor has been following the NBA and his beloved Lakers ever since.
Trevor stumbled upon fantasy basketball in 2000 when he ditched a college history course and spent the morning searching basketball web sites instead. Ironically Trevor is now a credentialed history teacher, but still has the love for fantasy basketball that began on that fateful morning.
Trevor has been writing online since 2001 and spent last season writing for NBA.com after winning the inaugural Fan Blogger contest. He has also managed several blogs as well as a website or two over the years, and currently is working on a novel that he hopes to finish sometime before the Kurt Rambis look comes back in style. Trevor can be reached at lane@rotoexperts.com. |

Greg Kinzer
Staff Writer
Greg Kinzer's first exposure to fantasy sports happened quite by accident, as he listened to co-workers talking about their upcoming 1996 Fantasy Football Draft and realized that this held his interest much more than work did. He overcame rookie drafting mistakes to make the fantasy football playoffs in his first year, won the title in 1997 and was officially hooked. From that experience grew an addiction that has included participating in multiple leagues and multiple sports, acting as commissioner for a period of time, founding and contributing to a fantasy football advice site, and making deals with his wife that the time spent on fantasy sports would be richly rewarded with prize money.
Greg's 6 foot 11 inch height made college and European pro basketball a reality, but upon his retirement he took up golf and has been addicted to the game ever since. He holds course records for longest drive (417 yards) and missed three-foot putts (too many to count). As with his other fantasy interests, Greg pursued fantasy golf in the same manner as previously mentioned and found time to write weekly advice articles for the past 2 1/2 years.
Greg is happily married to his loving (and patient) wife Mia, and has a 3 1/2 year old daughter, Avery. You can reach him at greg@rotoexperts.com. |

Tommy Landry
Senior Analyst
Tommy Landry is an avid fantasy sports participant (aka "junkie") since last century (okay, so the 1990s is technically last century) and has been a fantasy analyst for over six years. Aside from founding two companies in the past nine years, he was named a finalist for the Fantasy Baseball Series of the Year by the Fantasy Sports Writers Association in 2008, and was later named one of the hottest fantasy sports personalities on Twitter by The Crooked Pitch during early 2009 (follow him @tommy_landry).
Mr. Landry first cut his teeth back in 2003 with his own free fantasy advice website, T-PLan's Fantasy World. He later spent over two years as the injury expert for fantasyfootballchamps.com (ffchamps.com). From there, Tommy joined TalentedMrRoto.com after finishing among the top 10 in the site's annual "Open Pen" competition. While with TMR, Tommy was an NBA columnist; a Senior News Reporter for NFL, MLB, and NBA; a guest TRUMmer; and a designated contributor to the message boards. His fantasy analysis and advice has also appeared on NBA.com, CBS-Sportsline, SI.com, BleacherReport, and Foxsports.com. Tommy is an accomplished musician, has had his original poetry published on three occasions, and he enjoys life in Austin, TX, the live music capital of the world.
Tommy can be reached at tommy@rotoexperts.com. |
