FORMER CBS SPORTSLINE VP RETURNS WITH ROTOEXPERTS

David Hersh, former Vice President of Fantasy Sports for CBS SportsLine and one of the original forces behind the Commissioner.COM products that drove CBS SportsLine Commissioner to the forefront of the Fantasy industry, has joined RotoExperts.com as a Senior Advisor and a member of the Board of Directors. David returns to the Fantasy scene as a key consultant and supporting member of the RotoExperts team, looking to become an integral part of another Fantasy Sports success story.

David, who is currently a Chief Product Officer at Multiply.com, a social shopping network, traces his earliest roots to technology, but he quickly became a key contributor to CBS SportsLine’s success in other areas when SportsLine purchased Commissioner.Com from the Multiply founders in 1999. Dave was named Vice President of Fantasy Sports for SportsLine as it became the premier league management player in the Fantasy industry. Dave was responsible for overseeing and directing Business Development, Product Strategy and Design, and supervised the content and editorial teams.

“I have been keeping close tabs on the Fantasy Sports industry over the past few years, and it remains near and dear to my heart,” Hersh said. “While the industry has certainly grown in the years since I left it, I think there are tremendous opportunities out there for the right company to push the boundaries and really out-innovate the competition. At RotoExperts, Hersh will be reunited with former colleague Scott Engel, the Managing Director of RotoExperts.com. Engel served as Managing Editor of Fantasy Sports under Hersh at CBS SportsLine for four years.
