INDIANAPOLIS, IN–(Marketwire – February 2, 2011) – RotoExperts, LLC, the independent industry leader in Fantasy Sports content, is proud to announce that the winner of the inaugural 2011 RotoExperts NFL Fantasy Player of the Year Award is quarterback Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints. The Award is presented in conjunction with the Maxwell Football Club (MFC).

Brees won the award in record-setting fashion, throwing for 5,476 yards with an amazing 46 TDs and a quarterback rating of 110.6. Other quarterbacks getting votes were Aaron Rodgers, finishing a close second, Cam Newton, Tom Brady and Matthew Stafford. Rob Gronkowski finished first among tight ends with Calvin Johnson getting the most votes at wide receiver, while LeSean McCoy finished in a virtual tie with Ray Rice among running backs.
