The Sacramento Kings are set for a Monday night showdown with the Detroit Pistons. Sacramento enters this matchup riding a two-game losing streak. Meanwhile, after losing three of their previous five games, the Pistons look to get back on track before the postseason begins. Expect a dogfight between two teams who desperately need a win.

Kings vs Pistons Best Bet: Kings +7
Sacramento enters this matchup as the underdogs, primarily due to the team’s struggles to string together consistent performances this season. Even ahead of the trade deadline, the Kings were in a bad situation before deciding to move on from De’Aaron Fox. Despite that, the Kings have figured things out, at least for the last few games. If they were playing the Pistons from the previous month, I would easily take the odds that Detroit would win this game in a blowout. However, with the Pistons’ recent struggles, I can easily see the Kings keeping this game close even if they don’t manage to steal the win.
Kings vs Pistons Best Total Bet: Under 230.5
In their lone matchup this season, these two teams combined for 227 points in a win that went to Detroit by one point. The rosters for each squad looked completely different at the time of their first battle, but even then, hitting the over at the time of the first matchup was too tall a task. Assuming each side puts together a similar performance, I like the odds that this game stays under the 230.5 point set total. A final score of 114-108 seems like a realistic outcome.
Kings Best Player Bet: DeMar DeRozan 6+ Assists +152
At 35, DeMar DeRozan continues to prove he has plenty of fuel left in the tank, averaging 22.3 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.9 rebounds throughout the season. Although he’s more impactful as a scorer, the USC product has showcased his ability to be a willing facilitator over the Kings’ recent stretch. With 6+ assists in three of his last six and four of his previous eight games, I like the chance DeRozan can reach the mark again against Detroit.
Pistons Best Player Bet: Cade Cunningham 30+ Points +162
Cade Cunningham has looked the part of the Pistons franchise player this season, averaging 25.7 points, 9.1 assists, and 6.2 rebounds. In his first game in over two weeks on Saturday, the 23-year-old hit the ground running, finishing with 25 points. The versatile scorer can explode for 30+ points on any given night, and with the Pistons’ recent struggles, I can easily see him taking over in this matchup to will his team to a win.
