And I gotta tell you, Joe, first inclination is watching because we are handicappers. We understand how the markets move and how they adjust. You had -3000 as a favorite for Notre Dame to get in, and they've might as well paid for that gravestone right there at this point because they weren't getting in. But how did you feel about that? Because I know you were actually live on a football show, on an NFL show. I'm saying it, saying, OK, I'm tracking it by 15-minute intervals or 5-minute intervals. 15 minutes before the show, 10. Minutes before the show, 5 before the show, and right when the college football show kicked off, Notre Dame was into me, Joe, shocked they got left out, to be honest. Yeah, I mean, when you see -3000 and we saw it a couple of years ago with the whole Florida, uh, state situation in Alabama and that and what transpired back then, uh, just 2 years ago, there was market movement, but you know, are there insiders outside the playoff committee that knew? I, I don't know. I, you know. Or is it just people taking a shot knowing that they, you know, it's gonna come down. It's almost like a horse race, right? You have 2 minutes, you know they're gonna release the rankings. Why not try and push the market and potentially steal value, right? I, I mean, what, you know, you and I are on the air and, and Kevin and I were on air and you're watching -3000. Nobody in their right mind is betting Notre Dame at that point. All you're thinking about, uh, is Notre Dame is in. When you see -3000, who are they gonna play and what is the seeding and then it shocked everybody. Miami gets in, and that was Miami got in, Donnie, because of what transpired in the ACC championship. You know, Virginia wins that game. It could be a different animal, but the Canes have another life. Can they step up? You were 1 for 2, but you, you, you sold Miami and you started on the Notre Dame and you ran. The whole hand was over the button. I propped it both ways, by the way, I cashed out on Notre Dame before the playoff committee bought Miami before it came in a double whammy winner here. But if we are honest here of how this all actually went down, Joe, let's talk about what happened last Saturday with those football games, because if you are the committee, they got their worst-case scenario for chaos because every single thing that happened through what they were talking about in the weeks previous, Joe, into. Consideration of, oh, no, we might have to backtrack, which means you're right about this, and I firmly believe this. If UVA ends up knocking off Duke by 1 point, they're going there, and then all of a sudden you can look at the committee and go, ACC, you got your team in. We don't have to make it so controversial. Maybe Notre Dame gets in. The minute Duke won that game, the ACC goes, you're not leaving us out of this. So that meant that Alabama, who by the way, looked terrible, and I was tweeting throughout the entire game, Joe, and I said to myself, you know what? If they hang close, they're probably gonna get in. They got smoked looked like they didn't deserve to be there. Joe, how did you feel about Alabama not even moving down in the polls after that lackluster? Well, that's a typical, I don't know who Alabama has pictures on, but it, it happens during the Nick Saban era, you know, they have a bad loss. They fall two spots and still in contention for a college football national championship. It's amazing how Alabama never gets knocked around. When they have these losses, it's always the silver lining, right? You know, and they set that up with, with the Iron Bowl when you heard them talk eloquently about how Alabama looked fantastic building a 1st 1st half lead against a 5 and 7 Auburn team. It, it just goes to show two things. The, the, the playoff committee in these rankings are a complete joke. They're, they're like. Reality TV and I actually believe that they don't watch the games consistently enough week to week, Donnie, that when they put out rankings they're like, oh, you know what, we'll just fix it next week. But they did it so bad the first and previous ranking that they got backed into a corner and then they had to dig themselves out if they or if you just put out rankings and say. You know what? Final rankings at the end of the regular season. Nobody has a problem with it because then there's no debate. When they tell you head to head matters for Notre Dame and obviously Miami, but then the head to head doesn't matter in certain circumstances. Conference championships matter for Alabama, but it doesn't matter for BYU. That just shows you there's no real process when they come out with these top 12 teams.
