Huge news came down this week. Now, the coaching carousel that we've been talking about for many weeks is usually OK. Coach gets fired. Yeah, that's normal. Coach leaves for another job. Opening opens up here. Michigan Wolverines national championship just a few short years ago. Michigan Wolverines do not have a head coach this morning, and some are saying like, Oh no, is it because he lost to Ohio State? No, it wasn't, Joe. What a tangled web we weave on how Sharon Moore actually got fired. I couldn't believe this story. You couldn't have told me this was a movie. Yeah, it was unbelievable. Now. If you read all the reports and obviously we have to see exactly how the criminal investigation now, uh, plays out and obviously innocent until proven guilty, but supposedly, Michigan and the organization and program was aware of this activity and was working behind the scenes to potentially at least have a fail-safe plan in place. But I, I mean, just the off the field stuff, Donnie. I mean, so I mean there. There were reports he was, he was texting at halftime. Oh, I gotta get it. We gotta check texting at halftime of Ohio State. I mean, you know, unbelievable, uh, about the reports, um, and, and again you feel for the student athletes. You feel for players like Bryce Underwood that came there and now they're, if you, if you care about Michigan and you're a Michigan backer, you have to get a big name, obviously, a new head coach, stable the, the waters, and then keep. The talent because Lane Kiffin, now the shark, all these big programs that have money are gonna look to poach players when nobody's watching because there's no head coach in place. Biff Pogey's great. He, he does have a head coaching experience from, from Charlotte, but Biff ain't ain't, and even though Biff has money himself, he ain't throwing money at these players to keep him right now because he doesn't even know if he's gonna be there. Pretty incredible how it all came down to, because when you see. When the investigation actually started, Joe, the previous summer where both of these two, you know, got in front of a room, or at least with Ward manual, the AD, hey, this is a lie. We're, we're not connected in any way. I don't know who started this vicious lie. And then usually the university goes, all right, that's good enough. We don't really want to dig into this because of what the implications would be. And then you saw some of the stuff start to come out on social media early December, Joe, and people, and the Michigan guys, this is ridiculous. What an unfounded substantiated rumor. Then it comes to light, and then you get again, the technicalities of sometimes most people don't understand how the court. The corporate world works and college football is a corporate world which if you are a, you know, supervisor and an underling, you cannot have a relationship because of what you saw of what actually played out, Joe, hey, I make $500,000. I make $50,000. Wait a second, I make $100,000 now that. Well, what's that double in pay? Oh, just a really good assistant, you know, at this point. And then you're seeing like the relationship gets strained, and then what happens here? Michigan had no choice whatsoever than to get rid of this, and they're probably looking at a multi-million dollar lawsuit on top of this. Yeah. And then there were reports about AD, you know. Ward manualel not, uh, firing with an HR in the room, right so, so there you go we don't know the real story and I'm sure we'll have other reports, uh, throughout the month about how this plays out. But again, some of the names being mentioned now, you know, Gruden, uh, you know, obviously Deboer and, and some of the other Jed Fish, which I, you know, I, I, I look, you want Jed Fish as your head coach in Ann Arbor to fire up the fan base. I mean he won his first road game against Maryland this year in 2 years. I mean, give me a break. Uh, we're talking about Michigan again. It's gotta be a big name, and I heard like Marcus Freeman being reported to that Michigan. Yeah, that's the point. Like you're, you're coaching Notre Dame. Like how some of these reports get linked out, but I would take a shot. I, I mean, on Gruden, uh, just because again, you know, the, the NFL ties, the, the head coach. He's a big enough recognizable name, and again, has ties to the university, obviously working in media now. So, you know, it's, it, it, I would take a shot on that as opposed to some of the other. Why do you want Kaylin Deboer if you're, if you're Michigan? He can't, he's not winning at Alabama at the level that Nick Saban up until this point gave him the reins. Why would you give, why would, why would you want Kaylin De Boer roaming the sidelines in Ann Arbor makes no sense.
