Last year we saw an unprecedented amount of success for Fantasy Football rookie receivers. Every season, owners overdraft and overrate rookies because they want the next big thing. In this case, we have that built-in fact added to the rookie receiver success from 2014, and we will see rookies overrated more than ever. Don’t make the mistake of jumping in with the rest.
I love rookies/college players. It’s why I spend my entire football offseason covering them and giving you the rookie breakdowns each year. However, I won’t overpay for them, as you can often find better value later in drafts because owners have written off the Frank Gore and Steve Smith types. There is value with the Fantasy Football rookies this year, especially if you’re smart with the running backs. Just don’t over-reach, especially at receiver, as too many will be doing just that after last year.
