Snooze Button – Don’t sleep too long because there is still plenty of potential.
DeVante Parker, WR, Dolphins – The Fantasy community (myself included) has been on DeVante Parker since he was a rookie. The size, strength and potential are all there but merely flashed a few times rather than truly shining through. As with a number of the candidates on this list, there have been injuries that have slowed his progress, and now he has to recover from a finger issue that could keep him out in the season opener. The only thing he’s done consistently is burn Fantasy owners. Still, the allure of his talent and the departure of Jarvis Landry have me back on the Parker train once he is back.
Mike Williams, WR, Chargers – He made no impact as a rookie so the hype train really hasn’t had a chance to leave the station, which is odd for a first round receiver from a big time college. Williams has the potential to rival Keenan Allen as the Chargers go-to receiver. For now, he’ll battle with Tyrell Williams and Travis Benjamin for looks opposite Allen. Plus, with Hunter Henry out for the year already and Antonio Gates a free agent, there are even more targets up for grabs. Williams is a worthwhile risk in the later rounds this summer.
