Now that the NFL combine is upon us, here are my Dynasty Fantasy Football Rookie Rankings. I have done them by position: Quarterback, Wide Receiver, Running Back and Tight End. These positional rankings are going to change for…

First Round Dynasty Rookie Mock Draft

With the Combine only a couple of weeks away, now seems like a good time to start evaluating not just who to target in dynasty rookie drafts, but where those targets may go in your league. I got together with Davis Mattek (@DavisMattek) to do a first round rookie mock draft. Our objective in this…

The 2019 Post-Combine RB Success Model

Which 2019 RB Prospects Have the Best Odds to Succeed? I’ve been doing a lot of modeling on the wide receiver side of things so far, but very little with running backs. There are some new modeling techniques I’ve been eager to try, with one of them being a logistic regression to find success probability…

Josh Jacobs 2019 NFL Draft Prospect Profile Scouting Report Josh Jacobs is not an easy prospect to evaluate. For most NFL scouts and self-styled NFL Draft analysts on the internet, he is either the best running back in the 2019 NFL draft class or at least in the conversation. Miles Sanders 2019 NFL Draft Prospect Profile Scouting Report Miles Sanders is an interesting case study in how to evaluate prospects. When evaluating wide receivers, this task becomes a little easier because no football team ever has…

Eagles Josh Adams, Rams Josh Reynolds Strong Week 15 Streamers

Eagles Josh Adams, Rams Josh Reynolds Strong Week 15 Streamers premium

Strong Fantasy streamers for Week 15

At this point in the season, you’re more than likely in your Fantasy playoffs. It’s so hard to bench one of your studs because of a bad matchup; it takes some nerve. I’m a conservative Fantasy player. I rarely put everything on one roll of the dice, unless I only have one roll to make. Generally, I dance with the players that got me this far. I had Derrick Henry on the bench in one league last week. Yeah, I would’ve won that matchup had I started him. Still, it was the right move to sit him as no one saw that kind of game coming; process over results and all. If you do feel the need to take a gamble or two, here are some players that could help you.

Quarterback

Derek Carr, Oakland Raiders: Carr has thrown for five TD passes over his past two games and this week, he gets a Bengals team that has allowed the second-most Fantasy points to QBs in the NFL. Neither team has much of anything to play for, and points should be put up on the board here. I can’t start Carr over someone like Aaron Rodgers or Andrew Luck, but I could over a Jameis Winston or Russell Wilson this week.

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens: Jackson will once again start for the Ravens. His upside is limited because of his inability to throw the ball down the field, but he will also have his best matchup to date in the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay’s secondary has allowed the fourth-most points to opposing QBs. Jackson has a high floor because of his rushing ability; an off day for him would be 60 yards on the ground. Take that and add in the upside of the matchup and you’ve got a strong streamer.

Baker Mayfield, Cleveland Browns: Mayfield has been up and down this season, but one thing we know for sure: he’s not afraid to take his shots down the field. The Broncos just aren’t the same pass defense without Chris Harris, and if the Browns OL can keep Von Miller and Bradley Chubb off of Mayfield, he should be in for another solid passing day once again.

Running Back

Jeff Wilson, San Francisco 49ers: If Matt Breida does start Sunday then you will take Wilson off of this list. If not, though, then Wilson has a very nice matchup versus a Seahawks run defense that is among the worst in the league. That defense is also coming off a short week after defeating the Vikings on Monday night.

Jaylen Samuels, Pittsburgh Steelers: This is another iffy situation as you will want to stay away from Samuels should James Conner return from his high ankle sprain. I doubt Conner plays and although Samuels doesn’t have Conner’s talent, the bottom line is that points are going to be scored in this game and Samuels should get his share. You do have to keep your expectations in check, though, as Stevan Ridley will also get some touches. He scored from the goal line last week.

Josh Adams, Philadelphia Eagles: Carson Wentz seems unlikely to play Sunday due to a back injury. Although Nick Foles is a capable backup, one would have to think the Eagles will try to play keep away with the football. The way to do this is to run the rock early and often and keep the Rams’ offense off the field. Los Angeles has one of the worst run defenses in the league and Adams should put up big numbers should the Eagles’ defense be able to keep this game close.

Doug Martin, Oakland Raiders: Martin is not a great back, and this is not a great offense, but it is a pretty good matchup for the Raiders. Plus, Martin has scored in three straight games. The Bengals are the worst team in the league when it comes to giving up Fantasy points to opposing RBs. I don’t see this changing all that much Sunday.

Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans: Henry isn’t on this list because of his big game Week 14 against the Jaguars. I mean, let’s face it, the Jags laid down that game and pretty much escorted him into the end zone on a couple of those runs. Henry is on this list because he has scored in five of his last seven games and because the Giants are Top 10 in the league in giving up rushing TDs.

Wide Receiver

Josh Reynolds, Los Angeles Rams: That Eagles’ defense can’t stop the run or the pass, and you have to figure the Rams are going to be in an awful mood after being shut down by the Bears last Sunday. There should be enough targets and opportunities here for each Rams WR to eat in this game.

John Ross, Cincinnati Bengals: Ross is a big play waiting to happen, as he is one of the fastest players in the NFL. He’s caught several TDs this season, but all have been from within the red zone. We are still waiting for that big play to happen and facing a suspect Raiders defense, this may be the week.

Curtis Samuel, Carolina Panthers: Yeah, I’m somewhat worried about Cam Newton’s shoulder injury. That injury is fairly obviously bothering him, especially when he tries to throw the ball deep into the secondary. Still, Samuel seems to be his favorite target out of his WR group after D.J. Moore and the Panthers should be throwing the ball plenty Monday night.

Tight End

Ian Thomas, Carolina Panthers: Well, if Cam can’t get the ball deep to his WRs then it seems logical that he will have to throw the ball underneath to Christian McCaffrey and Thomas. With 14 catches on 16 targets the past two weeks, Thomas has quickly become a Top 10 Fantasy TE.

Vernon Davis, Washington: Well hey, if you’re looking this far down, then you’re desperate, now aren’t you? Josh Johnson will start over Mark Sanchez and that would seem like an upgrade. Davis would seem to be a nice target for Johnson, as it’s not like he has much else to throw to as far as the WR corps is concerned.

Defense/Special Teams:

Buffalo Bills: The Bills have been a solid defense all season long, and it’s not like they have much to worry about as far as the Lions’ offense is concerned. Kerryon Johnson will likely miss the game again and Kenny Golladay is the only threat at WR, but he can be taken out of the game.

Atlanta Falcons: I know what you’re thinking: how can you possibly start the Falcons’ defense, who has been awful all season long? Well, so has the Cardinals’ offense, and if that offense is going to be without David Johnson on Sunday, you might want to give Atlanta a shot should you not have any better options.

Detroit Lions: The Bills haven’t had an offense all season long and their best player, LeSean McCoy, may miss the game due to a hamstring injury. As much as I love watching Josh Allen run, the Lions have only allowed 62 rushing yards to QBs this season.
