I don’t recall ever witnessing a game in which four of a team’s five wide receivers were forced to leave a game due to injury but as you probably know, it happened to the Giants in Week 5. The most devastating of the injuries will cause the loss of Odell Beckham Jr. for the rest of the season. Unfortunately, you can’t truly replace a gamechanger and Fantasy stud like Beckham.
Fantasy owners will also be on the prowl for substitutions for players like Ezekiel Elliott, A.J. Green, Russell Wilson and LeSean McCoy. That’s right. The Cowboys, Bengals, Seahawks and Bills are all on bye for Week 6. Like last week, it’s important to watch who is dropped in your league after waiver wire moves have cleared. With four teams on a bye, your league mates may be forced to drop a player or two who may be a good fit for your team. Once again, we’ve identified several players who are at or below 50 percent ownership in CBSSports.com Fantasy Football leagues and may be worth adding to your roster. Good luck this week, and don’t forget to follow me on Twitter @joegallina.
