NEW YORK – The RotoExperts morning drive show on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio was bestowed with the highest honor for a radio program in Fantasy Sports journalism, winning the 2014 Fantasy Sports Writers Association (FSWA) Award for Best Radio Program. The winners of the 2014 FSWA awards were announced at the Fantasy Sports Trade Association’s Winter Conference in Las Vegas in mid-January.

RotoExperts has been occupying the morning drive slot on the tremendously successful SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio channel since its launch in the spring of 2010. Featuring inaugural FSWA Hall of Famer Scott Engel and veteran Fantasy Expert Adam Ronis, who have been hosting the program since its debut, the nationally praised program also features industry broadcasting standouts Nando Di Fino, Tony Cincotta and Lenny Melnick. The 6 to 9 am ET block, featuring Engel and Ronis, was launched as a simulcast on the new Fantasy Sports Network (FNTSY) early in 2014, and the 9 to 11 am ET portion is regularly hosted by Di Fino and Cincotta. SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio can be found on channels Sirius 210 and XM 87.

7030056612531676942The RotoExperts program won the FSWA’s Best Radio Program in the new Media Awards category, which debuted in 2013. RotoExperts was nominated for the award in 2013 as well. The award was RotoExperts’ 13th in its first six years of FSWA membership. RotoExperts has totaled 42 FSWA nominations since 2009.

Founded in 2004, RotoExperts expanded to a major independent Fantasy Sports site in 2008. RotoExperts.com quickly became one of the industry leaders in professional style and in-depth Fantasy Sports content. RotoExperts was acquired by Anthem Media Group in the summer of 2013. As a RotoExpert, Engel received the FSWA’s highest individual honor in 2011 when he was inducted with the inaugural class of the Fantasy Sports Writers Association’s Hall of Fame.

The RotoExperts program is produced by Corey Parson and Robert Phoenix. Veteran sports broadcaster Gregg Sussman appears as a weekly host, and Fantasy industry mainstays such as George Kurtz, Mike Blewitt and Mike Cardano also appear as hosts. RotoExperts also occupies the morning drive weekend slots on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio, from 7 to 10 am ET on Saturdays and Sundays. The weekend programs are hosted by Cincotta, Kurtz, Blewitt and Melnick.
