That was not the only news this week! Devonta Freeman cleared the concussion protocol and will suit up for the Falcons this week against a Vikings team that has allowed the fewest FPPG to RBs this season, and the second fewest in the past month. My initial reaction was that Freeman would retake his spot as an RB1 this week, but the more I think about it, and speaking to my Fantasy Football BFFs co-host, I have soured on that a bit. I think he is an RB2, because I believe the Falcons realized they are at their best when they get the run game going and I do think Freeman will be their top back again. However, Tevin Coleman did play well and I want to see the workload distributed this week, especially against a tough defense. If Freeman receives the volume that he did early on when the Falcons went 3-1, or like Coleman has the past three weeks when the Falcons have won, he will take his spot as an RB1.
Jameis Winston is back! While I am happy that he is back, I am concerned about his shoulder and want to see him play and show that he is not held back by it at all this week. He has a great matchup this week
