Which Washington RB should you target for Fantasy purposes?
When the Redskins drafted Derrius Guice, Fantasy owners knew what to expect from this backfield in 2018. Guice would be handling the rushing duties while Chris Thompson would be firmly entrenched as the team’s pass-catching specialist. But with the season-ending ACL injury to Guice, we find ourselves back in the muck that is the Redskins running back situation. If we learned anything in 2017, it’s that none of the options in this backfield are a outstanding prospects in Fantasy Football. Outside of Thompson, Samaje Perine and Rob Kelley had their shots at leading this attack and both left a lot to be desired. That is why the Redskins’ front office had no choice but to bring in a veteran to try and breathe life into the running game. They hope they have done just that with the acquisition of Adrian Peterson.
But the question on the minds of Fantasy owners across the land is just who, if any ‘Skins, are worthwhile to be drafted and owned in 2018? The general assumption post-Guice injury was that Thompson would be the back to own here in PPR formats, which could still be the case. But other than him, are the other players worthwhile to roster this season?
