Your Bye Week Guide for the 2018 season
In a draft, I don’t let bye weeks have much, if any bearing on my decision-making. Even so, it is never too early to start taking a look at potential bye week replacement options. In shallow leagues, you can definitely go to the waiver wire for your QBs and TEs. If you have a shaky starting QB, you may want to consider rostering a backup. As for running backs and wideouts, you will need ample depth on your bench to get through the bye weeks.
Week 4 – The Panthers and the Redskins are both on byes, which should make for relatively light work in terms of planning. If you own Cam Newton or if for some reason Alex Smith is your QB1, take a look at Ryan Tannehill against the Patriots. He has over 300 passing yards versus the Patriots in his last four games against them. Eli Manning at home against the Saints is in a prime spot for successful Fantasy output.
