Matthew Stafford (Lions) vs. Titans: Since the second half of last season, Stafford has been playing well under offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter. In the last nine games, he has 22 touchdowns and two interceptions. Stafford has passed for at least two touchdowns in seven straight games. He has one interception in that span. Stafford opened the season with 340 passing yards and three touchdowns and with an array of weapons, he will have another good week.
Eli Manning (Giants) vs. Saints: Nothing has changed when it comes to the Saints defense. Until they show otherwise, continue to exploit them. The Saints allowed 35 points to the Raiders last week, and when the Giants faced the Saints last season, it was a 52-49 game. Manning didn’t have the ball much last week as the Cowboys controlled the clock, but Manning still threw three touchdowns. The Saints allowed 486 yards last week. Manning has 12 touchdowns in his last three games against the Saints, including six last season to go with 350 yards.
