What is the best way to prepare crow? Yeah, I am ready to take that L on Adrian Peterson. Hell, I tweeted that I would have to after his first drive with the Cardinals. Peterson went out and carried the ball 26 times for 134 yards and two touchdowns. Now, while I am admitting defeat on AP, do not expect those numbers every single week. The Cards jumped out to a huge lead, which allowed AP to be out there and grind out the clock. However, I do think he is a high-end RB2 this week against a Rams team that is among one of four teams to allow over 700 rushing yards to RBs. Of those four teams, the Rams have allowed the most rushing TDs (7) and have allowed 37 Fantasy Points or more to RB tandems in four of six games. This is a fantastic matchup for Peterson.
If someone dropped Andre Ellington after last week, go pick him up. Game script was not in his favor as the Cards had that early lead, and Carson Palmer only had to throw 22 times. I do not expect that to continue going forward and Ellington is still clearly the passing down back on a team that will have to throw the ball.
