Week Seven Fantasy Football Workshop: Rest Of Season Updates, Trade Targets And Adjustments
Every week, after the Monday Night Football game commences, fantasy football players get down to the important work: updating rankings, making Waiver Wire bids, altering projections and figuring out injury news. We are now seven weeks into the NFL season. Like many of you, I have some teams I am incredibly proud of (including a first-place FFPC Main Event team) and some teams that I wish I could just wave the white flag on.
Chances are, the playoff picture in your leagues is pretty clear. If you are 1-6 right now, well my friend, you are probably only read this article because you really like the product here at RotoExperts. Of course, stats and topics explored in the workshop are useful for DFS and dynasty as well but the primary reason we are here is to win league championships. As always, teams that are in pole position to make the playoffs and maybe even get a bye should be concentrating on getting as many points into their starting lineup as possible. Teams that are on the outside looking in should be sacrificing future points for immediate points in their lineup now. That means if you have players who on a bye (the Cowboys this week for example), it is probably best to take a reduced package for one of those players in order to have a chance to win this week.
