Week Five Fantasy Football Workshop: Rest Of Season Updates, Trade Targets And Adjustments
Every week, after the Monday Night Football game commences, fantasy football players get down to the important work: updating rankings, making Waiver Wire bids, altering projections and figuring out injury news. The earlier in the season it is, the more important your reaction to change is. You should have a pretty good idea of where your teams stand after three weeks. You likely have some 0-4 teams and hopefully some 4-0 teams as well.
Your strategy is going to be much more team-specific than it was to start the year. It probably doesn’t make sense for a losing team to hold Tony Pollard, the same way that Cole Beasley likely is not on the roster of a 4-0 team. The better your record is, the more you should be planning on having the best possible starting lineup for the playoffs. The worse your record is, the more you should be focusing on how you will get more points in your starting lineup now.
