Week Five Fantasy Football Workshop: Rest Of Season Updates, Trade Targets And Adjustments
Every week, after the Monday Night Football game commences, fantasy football players get down to the important work: updating rankings, making Waiver Wire bids, altering projections and figuring out injury news. We are now five weeks into the NFL season. Like many of you, I have some teams I am incredibly proud of (including a first-place FFPC Main Event team) and some teams that I wish I could just wave the white flag on (including a last-place FFPC Main Event team).
Even if you are 0-5, you are not out of it. Even if you are 5-0, you still need to be making tweaks to your roster to ensure that you have cover for the bye weeks and more importantly, set yourself up for the playoff run. Most of your FAAB should be concentrated on players with high ceilings as opposed to high floors. Jon Hilliman probably doesn’t make sense for a team that already has three good running backs but if you are starting James White, maybe that is an add that makes sense.
